Refer a company
Do you know a company that To Bill would help? Send it your personal link. If it creates its account with this link, it is added to your figures. Referring earns no reward, neither for you nor for the company: it only shows you what your recommendations led to.
Send your link
At the bottom of the left menu, click your name, then Refer a company (1).
The Refer a company window shows Your personal link (1), which starts with
https://app.tobill.ch/register?ref=. Click Copy link (2): To Bill confirms Link copied.Paste the link into an email or a message to the company.
On a phone, a tablet or a browser that offers it, Share also opens the device’s share menu (messages, email…).
Your link does not change: opening the window again shows the same one, and you can send it to as many companies as you like.
What the invited company sees
The link opens To Bill’s sign-up page, with the Referral invitation box. The company creates its account as usual, with the form or with Google, then describes its company and starts its free trial (see Create your account and your company). The link changes neither its trial nor its price.
The box also tells it that the person who sent the link only sees how many companies signed up and subscribed through it, never its data.
Your figures
Under the link, two counters (3). The icon next to each name says what it counts.
| Counter | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Signed up | Companies that created their To Bill account with your link, subscribed or not. |
| Subscribed | Of the companies signed up, those with a paid subscription or a free trial running today. A company that cancels, or whose trial ends, is no longer counted. |
The figures are up to date each time you open the window. You only see these two figures, never who signed up or their data.
What is not counted
- An account created without your link, even if you had told that company about To Bill.
- An account that already existed: the link only counts new accounts.
- A person who works in someone else’s company, with no company of their own, counts in Signed up, not in Subscribed.
In the fiduciary cockpit
The cockpit has the same entry: click your name at the bottom of the menu, then Refer a company. The window is the same, with your figures.
The link opens the sign-up to To Bill, not to the cockpit: the company creates its own account there. It does not create a mandate. To keep a client’s books, use Add mandate (see Add and track your mandates).
